Spring Cheer
Open to grades 2–6, Spring Cheer runs alongside Spring 7v7 football. Practices start the week of April 28, and games are Sundays at Smith Park through the end of June.

Spring cheer, summer camp, and full fall sideline cheer: three ways to cheer with the Pacers. Good time to be a Pacer cheerleader.
Spring, summer camp, or the full fall season on the sideline — we've got a spot for your cheerleader either way.

Open to grades 2–6, Spring Cheer runs alongside Spring 7v7 football. Practices start the week of April 28, and games are Sundays at Smith Park through the end of June.

Two mornings at Smith Park — July 11 and July 18, 8 AM to noon. Every camper gets a Jr Pacers camp t-shirt, and first and second graders even perform a half-time dance at the first Pacers home game of fall. Open to grades 1–6.

Full sideline cheer in the COYFL for grades 3–6. Weekday evening practices and Sunday games through October 30. You'll travel to opponents across central Ohio — Worthington, New Albany, Olentangy, Big Walnut, and Gahanna.
Spring Cheer depends on parent and guardian volunteers. If you can help the squad with organization, equipment, events, or coaching support, contact the cheer coordinators.
Fall cheer is the full experience — weekday evening practices, Sunday games, and travel across central Ohio with your squad. It's a real season.
For the kid who wants to fire up the crowd instead of the sideline. It's a unique role in the Jr Pacers family and spots are limited, so don't wait if that sounds like your kid.
Explore the mascot programEvery athlete builds fundamentals with the form, safety, and confidence to grow — whatever their starting point.
Teammates lift and hold a flyer in the air: bases, a flyer, and a backspot working as one group.
Start lineBeginners start low, with thigh stands and simple prep-level holds, before anything goes overhead.
Gymnastics on the mat and the sideline: rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, and building toward handsprings.
Start lineYou'll start with forward rolls and cartwheels. No experience needed.Sharp, powerful jumps like toe touches, hurdlers, and pikes, hit clean and in sync with the squad.
Start lineWe begin with the motion and timing, then add height over the season. The crisp arm positions that make a cheer read from across the field: high-Vs, T's, daggers and more.
Start lineMotions are the very first thing every cheerleader learns, on day one.
Leading the crowd with the voice, words, and energy that get the whole stadium chanting with the team.
Start lineWe teach the words and the voice together, and shy kids leave loud.
A stunt is never one person. Tap each spot to see the role it plays — it's the clearest picture of the teamwork and trust cheer is built on.

Every stunt takes a full group working together. Tap a number on the photo to meet each role — nobody flies without the whole group behind them.
Roles shown are the standard cheer positions — we'll confirm the exact wording with our coaches.

Behind every routine is a Delaware kid who found their confidence.
The volunteers who build confidence, technique, and teamwork on every squad. Photos, and a little about why each coach gives her time, are on the way.

Here's how family stories will look once we gather them — short notes and video clips from parents. These are examples for now; real ones take their place as families share.
“She was so shy on day one she could barely say her name. By the last game she was out front leading a cheer with the whole crowd behind her.”
“The older girls took her under their wing right away. She walked in not knowing anyone and left with a whole squad of big sisters.”
“Two kids, two sidelines, one family. Our fall Saturdays belong to the Pacers now and we love every minute of it.”
Future cheer registration details will be posted here when they are confirmed. The next expected Jr Pacers registration is Spring 7v7 football in early 2027.
Cost shouldn't keep a kid off the sideline. Ask us about confidential, need-based scholarships. No kid gets turned away.
