Everyone must treat athletes, teammates, opponents, families, coaches, volunteers, and officials with respect; protect physical and emotional safety; and contribute to a program built on teamwork, growth, sportsmanship, and fun.
Standards for everyone
- Show respect in words, actions, online activity, and body language.
- Practice good sportsmanship in victory, defeat, disagreement, and competition.
- Protect physical and emotional safety and report concerns promptly.
- Do not bully, harass, intimidate, threaten, discriminate, or engage in inappropriate conduct.
- Encourage effort, learning, teamwork, confidence, and age-appropriate fun.
Sideline and game-day behavior
Cheer positively. Parents and spectators may not coach from the sideline, confront officials, interfere with team instruction, or direct negative comments toward any athlete or adult. Officials’ decisions must be respected even when someone disagrees.
How to raise a concern
- Do not confront a coach, official, volunteer, athlete, or another family during a practice or game.
- Take an appropriate cool-off period.
- Bring the concern calmly to the coach, program coordinator, or Board through the proper channel.
- Do not criticize the program, participants, or volunteers publicly or on social media while the matter is being addressed.

Parents & guardians
Positive sidelines, respectful communication, dependable attendance, and support for every athlete.
Coaches
Safety-first leadership, professional boundaries, constructive teaching, and character above winning.
Football players
Effort, safe play, respect, emotional control, and care for teammates and equipment.
Cheer athletes
Team support, safe technique, inclusion, respect, and responsible participation.
Accountability
Depending on the behavior and its severity, consequences may include a reminder or warning, removal from a practice, game, sideline, or event, suspension, loss of role or playing opportunity, or further Board action. Serious safety or conduct violations may skip progressive steps.
